Why I Built This
After years of teaching, there's one thing Iāve consistently seen in the ELL (English Language Learner) department: teachers are asked for a language objective on the wall. And almost every time, writing one is confusing, frustrating, and at least semi-overwhelming. Even veteran teachers have told me theyāre unsure how to write a strong language objective. Somehow, somewhere, something is getting lost.
But it doesnāt have to be that way. At least, I hope it doesn't.
At its core, a language objective is a simple idea --it's basically just a goal. And at the end of the day, it's not something you write on your wall for someone else. You write it for yourself. Thatās why I decided to bring AI into the process. Iām not claiming itās a perfect solution or that AI knows more than a knowledgeable teacher--it doesn't. But the nice thing about AI is that you can keep asking it questions--well, that depends on your plan maybe. I've also added a lot of other features besides AI. I don't claim to be an expert. I'm just trying to help.
